يضم هذا الكتاب الأعمال الكاملة التي كتبها المبدع المسرحي بديع خيري شاعر ثورة 1919، وأحد أبرز صناع النهضة المسرحية في النصف الأول من القرن العشرين، ولد فيالقاهرة في 18 أغسطس 1892، وتوفي في 2 فبراير 1966، وأبدع الكثير من الأعمال الشهيرة التي ربما لا يعرف الكثيرون أنها من تأليفه مثل (قوم يا مصري، وصبح الصباح فتاح يا عليم، ويا واش يا واش يا مرجيحة، ويهون الله يعوض الله)، وغيرها من الأعمال التي شارك سيد درويش في تقديمها، كما كان الرفيق المبدع للكوميديان نجيب الريحاني، والذي كتب له مسرحياته الشائعة، والكتاب يضم أعماله الكاملة لأول مرة في المكتبة العربية.
