ومن ثم تتأكد أهمية التعرف علي المؤشرات المتعلقة بإنجاز التعليم في تحقيق أهداف التنمية القومية من خلال إجراء مقارنات محلية أو دولية مختلفة تلقي جميعاً الضواء علي الأدوار التنموية للتعليم بما يفيد في توجيه جهود إصلاح وتجديد نظام التعليم وصولا إلي المدرسة الفعالة المحققة لطموحات التطوير والملبية لمتطلبات الجودة.
