هَمَمْتُ مراراً أن أكتب شيئاً في الإسلام، وكان أمراً بديهياً، أليس الإسلام ديني؟ الذي أحيا فيه وأتعامل به، وأجاهد في سبيله، وآمل أن أبعث عليه إن شاء الله.
أليس من واجبي حيال هذا الدين، وواجب كلِّ مسلم، أن يعتزَّ بدينه وأن ينشر على الملأ مفاخره؟ وأن يدفع عنه كل ما يراد به من سوء؟ بل إن ما أدين الله عليه، أن هذا الدين من يوم أن سطع نوراً على هذه الأرض أصبحت تسبح في بحار إنسانية زاخرة بالخير.
وغدت السماء البشرية فياضة اليمن والبركات، وأضاءت إشراقاته قمم المُثل العليا فملأت الدنيا معالم وضَّاءة وألواناً إجتماعية رائعة، تُسْعِد كل ما في هذا الوجود من جنِّ وإنس وحيوان ونبات وجماد، وغذَّى العالم بكل ما يُقوِّي من كيان الآدمية حسّاً ومعنّى.
يُطهِّر النفوس من كل أدران الشر والسوء فتهزج تحت ومضات النجوم مسعدة حاضرة بأمجاد ماضية، كأنما يصلي له في محراب الطهر والمودة والعفاف.
