هذه هِيَ التَرْجَمَةْ العَرَبِيَّةْ الكاملَةْ لِكِتابِ الأسْرار، لـِ فِرِيْدِ الدِّيْن العَطَّار؛ وَهُوَ كِتابٌ فَرِيْدٌ في المَجال، مَمْلُوءٌ بالحِكْمَة، مَنْظْومٌ بالنَّظْمِ المَثْنَوِيّ على غِرارِ كتابَيْ: (المُصِيْبَة، وَمَنْطِقِ الطَيْر).
كتابُ الأسْرارِ هذا ثابِتُ النِّسْبة لـِ فَريدِ الدِّيْنِ العَطَّار، فَلَم يَشُكٌ أَحَدٌ في نسْبَتِهِ إِلَيْه، وَهُوَ مِنْ أوائِلِ كُتُبِه، وَقْدْ ذُكِرَ في شَأنِهِ: أنَّ العَطَّار أهَداهُ إلى مَولانا جلال الدِّيْن الرُّومِي، حيْنَ التَقى بِهِ في مُرُورِهِ بِنَيْشابُورِ رِفْقَة والِدِه، والرُّوميُّ، آنَذاكَ، وَلَدٌ حَدَث، وَغَيْرُ خافٍ تَأَثُرُ مَولانا بـ العَطَّار، كَما تَأَثَّرَ بِهِ كُلُّ مَنْ أتى بَعْدَهُ مِنَ العارِفِيْنَ.
العَطَّارُ عَمِيْقُ غَوْرِ الكلام، دَقيْقُ المَعْنى، شَدِيْدُ تَأثِيْرِ البَيان، وَكُلُّ قَوْلٍ قالَهُ العَطَّارُ بِكْرٌ.
