أي منزلة للفلسفة ضمن السّياق الثقافي العربي؟ وكيف نفهم العوائق الثقافية المعطِّلة لتدريسها؟
انطلاقًا من معايشة لصيقة بالشأن الفلسفي تعلّمًا وتعليمًا وإشرافًا بيداغوجيًّا وبحثًا علميًّا امتدّت ثلاثة عقود، واعتمادًا على مقاربة كيفيّة تخاصصيّة متداخلة المناهج، انتهينا إلى أنَّ المشكلة ليست في الفلسفة ذاتها بقدر ما هي في السّياق والوسائط. فالنصوص التأسيسيّة لهذه الثقافة العربية تنخرط بوضوح في تثمين العقل والنّظر والتأمّل والاعتبار. ولكنَّ الممارسات التطبيقيّة تكشف عن خشية وتظنّن واحتراس في التعامل مع الفلسفة والتفلسف والفلاسفة، يعود بدوره إلى توتّر تاريخي في العلاقة بين العقل والنَّقل وبين الحكمة والشريعة وبين الفلسفة والدّين. افترضنا أنَّ هذا التوتّر لا تستوفيه الأسباب المعرفيّة المحض، بقدر ما يمكن إرجاعه أيضًا إلى دوافع وجدانيّة نفسيّة. فحاولنا بناء مفهوم «المعطّلات الثقافيّة» بما يقوم عليه من تفاعل جدليّ مركّب بين البنى الثقافيّة العميقة واللّاوعي الجمعيّ والذّاكرة الوجدانيّة، وسعينا إلى تشخيص أزمة تدريس الفلسفة ضمن السّياق الثقافيّ العربيّ، ثم تفسيرها وفهمها، علّنا ننتهي إلى تحديد شروط تجاوزها.
