دراسة نقديّة لسبع ترجمات أردنيّة مختارة من رباعيّات عمر الخيّام غير معروف أكثرها، وهي لكل من: مصطفى هبي التّل (عِرار)، وعيسى الناعوري، ونويل عبد الأحد، ومحمد الظّاهر، وتيسير سبول، ومحمود بدر شلبايّة، ويوسف بكّار؛ وقد خصّ لكل منهم بفصل مستقل.
إنّ الهدف من إفرادها في كتاب واحد، وهو إبراز سهمة المترجمين الأردنيين في التّرجمات العربيّة لأعداد من الرّباعيّات؛ فهي تكاد تكون سُبْعها؛ ناهيك بالدلالة التاريخيّة لترجمة عرار، التي كانت أوّل ترجمة عربيّة (1922) عن اللّغتين التركيّة والفارسيّة في حين أنّ ما قبلها جميعاً كان عن لغات أجنبيّة تتصدّرها الإنجليزيّة والفرنسيّة.
