Book Description
يُعَدّ هذا الكتاب من أشهر كتب السيرة النبوية، وهو يأتي في ثلاثة مجلدات غاية في الجمع والإمتاع، حيث اشتهر اشتهاراً كثيراً، وتلقّاه أفاضل العلم بالقَبول.
وقد جمعه مؤلفه علي بن برهان الدين الحلبي من كتاب (عيون الأثر) للحافظ أبي الفتح ابن سيِّد الناس (ت: 734ﻫ)، الذي قال عنه أنه أحسن ما ألف في السيرة النبوية، غير أنه أطال بذكر الإسناد؛ ومن سيرة الشمس محمد بن يونس الشامي (ت: 845ﻫ)، التي قال عنها بأن المصنف أتى فيها بما هو في أسماع ذوي الأفهام كالمعادات، فجمعت هاتان السيرتان الصحيح والسقيم والضعيف والبلاغ والمرسل والمنقطع والمعضل دون الموضوع.
فقام الشيخ ابن برهان الدين الحلبي بحذف الأسانيد واختصارها، وحاول تنقية كتابه من الروايات الموضوعة المكذوبة، والتي تكثر في كتب السير، فلخص هاتين السيرتين مع الضميمة إليهما بإشارة الشيخ أبي المواهب محمد البكري، وحَلّى كتابه بتوزيع همزية البوصيري بحسب أحداث السيرة، كما ذكر شيئاً من أبيات تائية السبكي، وأبيات ابن سيد الناس في ديوان (بشرى اللبيب بذكرى الحبيب)، وكثيراً ما ينسب النقول إلى قائليها وكتبهم، والأحاديث إلى مخرجيها، وأحياناً يحكم عليها، وقد أطال في آخر الكتاب الكلام على سرايا النبي وشمائله وخصائصه وصفاته.
والمؤلف هو: نور الدين أبو الفرج علي بن إبراهيم بن أحمد، ابن برهان الدين الحلبي المصري (975-1044ﻫ)، مؤرخ أديب، أصله من حلب، ومولده ووفاته بمصر.
