في كتابه (سلوك الموحدين الدروز في الدنيا والدين) يتجاوز الشيخ "مرسل نصر" القول المعتاد إن الإسلام عقيدة وشريعة إلى القول إن للإسلام ركنا آخر هو "نظام القيم" بوصفه مكملا لعقيدته ولنظامه الشرعي.
وفي هذا السياق يوضح سماحته أن مذهب التوحيد (الدرزي) زاوج بين القيم والسلوك في بناء إطار المعرفة التي تؤدي إلى الإسلام الحق. كما جعل نظام القيم هذا مرتكزا على الصدق والمعاملة العادلة في المال وعلى السخاء والضيافة، والتوكل وآداب المائدة، وعلى العقل واتباع السلف الصالح في الأخلاق ... وقد أكد ذلك سماحته في مقدمة كتابه بقوله:"كتابنا الحالي الذي قصدنا منه بيان التعامل بين الموحدين في أمور الدنيا والدين، وما يلزم به ويوصي به شيوخنا الأجلاء، عاملين بأقوال من سبقهم من السلف الصالح، وفي مقدمتهم الأمير عبد الله التنوخي الذي (...) أصبح في عصره قدوة جميع المسلمين الموحدين، واحتكم إليه الأخصام من كافة الطوائف والمذاهب ..." وهكذا تضمن الكتاب مواضيع متنوعة تتعلق بالسلوك في الصدق الذي يشكل أعظم فريضة عند الموحدين، إذا لا تنفع بدونه صلاة أو صيام أو حج أو زكاة على ما يرى المؤلف، كما تضمن بعض التعاليم التوحيدية في إدارة الأموال بين إخوان التوحيد، وفضل الصدقات، وأدب العطاء عند الموحدين، إضافة إلى بحث في الحلال والحرام والشبهة، والفرق بين القرض والربا، وحكمة تكريمه، كما أضاف الكتاب ما يتوجب في أمر التقوى، وحفظ الإخوان، ووجوب الرضا والتسليم، إلى غير ذلك من سلوك الموحدين.
