...وعليه شعرت بأن الواجب يشدني إلى تأليف هذا الكتاب بعنوان الإمام جعفر الصادق ومذهب الموحدين (الدروز)، بعد أن استعرض نشأة الموحدين في الإسلام واستمراره عبر الشيعة بعد وفاة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وتغلغل مبادئ هذا الإمام العظيم عليه السلام ف يمفاصل مذهب التوحيد في ظاهر الأركان الإسلامية وباطنها في عهد سلالته من الفاطميين، ونلقي الضوء على بعض المبادئ التي يتمسك بها الموحدون، ومصادرها، من كتاب الله وسنة رسوله وأقوال الأئمة وف يمقدمتهم الإمام جعفر الصادق عليه السلام بعد جده الأول الإمام علي عليه السلام وارث علم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ونقطف منها بعضاً من أقواله وتوجيهاته الدينية والدنيوية، ونغترف من بحر علومه ليشرب منها الشارد والوارد حجة للجميع وعليهم.
...ومما لا شك فيه أن لأقوال الإمام جعفر الصادق عليه السلام الأثر البالغ في نفوس الموحدين، لوجودها في مواعظهم، وفي إرشادهم الدينين، ولا ننسى بأن لتأويل أقوال الإمام في زمن الفاطميين من قبل القاضي أبي حنيفة النعمان في عهد الإمام المعز عليه السلام بعض الآثار في مذهب الموحدين، سيما وأن الفاطميين -المذهب الإسماعيلي- يعتبرون بأن لكل ظاهر باطناً لا يقوم أحدهما إلا بصاحبه.
...وبحث الكتاب أيضاً التأويل عند الإمام الخميني، وموقف الموحدين من التأويل، كما تضمن الكتاب آثار الإمام الصادق في مذهب التوحيد، وأنهينا الكتاب ببعض من نظريات الإمام الصادق، التي أقر بصحتها علماء الغرب.
