دأب الإعلام الغربي وكثير من المفكرين والمثقفين التابعين له، على وصف الإسلام بأنه دين عبادة فقط ولا دخل له بتنظيم أمور الناس وحياتهم، وقد ذهبوا أبعد من ذلك عندما إتهموا الإسلام بأنه لا يملك أجندة سياسة ولم يرسم شكل النظام الإسلامي للمسلمين، وهذه أفكار غريبة على الثقافة الإسلامية أطلقها هذا الإعلام، ورددها معه دعاة التغريب في بلادنا بقصد تشويه الإسلام ولصق ما ليس فيه به.
إن الإسلام كلّ لا يتجزأ، فهو عقيدة متكاملة في كلّ الجوانب والحقول، فكما هو عبادة شريعة وأخلاق، فهو أيضاً نظام حياة يكفل للفرد برنامجه ضمن إطار أو مؤسسة أو دولة، يسعى من خلالها تطبيق ذلك البرنامج ليحقق له كل آماله وطموحاته في الحياة، ليسعد في الدنيا ويفوز الآخرة.
والكتاب الذي بين يديك جهدٌ متواضعٌ، لتوضيح رسالة الإسلام المتكاملة التي اعتبرت أن السياسة جزء من الدين، وأن الدين شمولي يحمل كل أبعاد الحياة، وفيه كل ما يريده الإنسان، فليس فيه نقص أو خلل.
وهذا البحث هو محاولة لبيان وجه الإسلام الناصع الذي حاول الغربيون إلصاق التهم به وتشويه صورته.
