وللتشجيع على القراءة، أنشأت نانسي نادي قراءة للأطفال والمراهقين لأنها تعتبر أن كل إنجازاتها كانت نتيجة القراءة، حيث إنها منذ الصغر كانت تقرأ وكانت تستمع إلى قصص والدها قبل النوم، فكبر حبها للقراءة مع نمو عمرها حتى أصبحت مدمنة على القراءة.
لدى نانسي أحلام وأفكار عدة تحققها بإيمانها بالإيجبية وبأن لا شيء مستحيلاً، نانسي تحب ونقدر كل من لديه لقب "شاعر" أو "كاتب" لكن كاتبها المفضل هو رولد دال فهما يشتركان في عدة أشياء منها الخيال الواسع والحس الفكاهي وحب الشوكولا!...
عدا عن القراءة، فإن نانسي على علاقة وطيدة بالضحك والأكل والرقص والمغامرات، وعلى الرغم من إنشغالها الدائم بتحقيق أحلامها، فإنها لا تنسى أن تجرب شيئاً جديداً كل يوم وتعيش طفولتها الجميلة.
