"مصنع الأحلام" بهذا المعنى يتطلب من قارئه مداراة اللغة التي جاء عليها الأديب والمؤرخ وعالم الإجتماع الروسي ايليا غريغورفيتش هرنبورغ (1891 - 1967) ومداوراتها في الوقت نفسه، فهي لغة مكلفة تؤكد أن صناعة الأحلام لم تكن صدفة ولدت عسفاً في صالة معتمة تعرض فقط لخيالات الممثلين والممثلات، فهنا أيضاً ستتردد أسماء كثيرة وقفت من وراء: بارامونت، وارنر برذر، فوكس القرن العشرين، وكوداك ايستمان صاحبة شريط الأحلام... الشريط الهادر باللون، والذي لا تنضب مخيلته منذ أن قرر أن يؤرخ لها بالذهب...!!
