تقترن الفضاءات المكانية في النصوص القصصية بالمكان الفلسطيني ذي الصبغة الحقيقية والدلالة الامتدادية والتحولات اللامتناهية من المدلولات التي ترتبط بحميمية المكان وشرعيته، والعلاقات المتقاطعة بين المكان والإنسان. والفضاء المكاني ملفوظ ثابت يمارس في النص القصصي ممارسة دلالية تتفاوت من موضع لآخر – حسب العلاقة التفاعلية بين الذات الفاعلة والآخــــــــــر من جهة، وبين الذات الفاعلة والسياق الاجتماعي من جهة أخرى. فيضفي – بذلك – على الفضاء المكاني فعالية لا متناهية وامتداداً لا نهائياً. وتنتظم الفضاءات المكانية – بوصفها بنيات سيميائية – في البنية السردية وفق علاقات ترابطية تحددها الإحالات الثقافية والاجتماعية للإشارات المكانية الواردة في النصوص القصصية، ضمن السياقات الثقافية الاجتماعية الأيديولوجية التي تتفاعل جميعاً مع العوالم الداخلية للبنى السردية، ويترتب عنها نشوء قصص تحفل بالمكان السردي حيث يحيل على المكان الواقعي المتضمن ملامح تاريخية واجتماعية وأيديولوجية، وعليه، تندمج الفضاءات المكانية داخل أطر مكانية تعيّنها محددات سردية، وتصطبغ بسمات سياقية تقترن بالعالم الخارجي.
