كتاب "تنقيح الفصول في اختصار المحصول" كان الله يسره علي، ليكون مقدمة أول كتاب "الذخيرة" في الفقه، ثم رأيت جماعة كثيرة رغبوا في إفراده عنها واشتغلوا به، فلما كثر المشتغلون به رأيت أن أضع له شرحًا يكون عونًا لهم فى فهمه وتحصيله، وأبين فيه مقاصد لا تكاد تعلم إلا من جهتى، لأني لم أنقلها من غيري، وفيها غموض، وأوشح ذلك- إن شاء الله تعالى- بقواعد جليلة وفوائد جميلة ابتغاء لثواب الله عز وجل ووجهه الكريم، وهو الوهاب لكل نعمة، والدافع لكل نقمة، وهو ولينا في الدينا والآخرة، والمسئول بجلاله المبتهل لعلائه في الإعانة على خلوص النية وحصول البغية في جميع الأعمال من الأقوال والأفعال، وهو حسبنا ونعم الوكيل.
