لكل جميلة شعر جديد
ولايفنى الجمال, ولا النشيد
إذا دعت العيون فلى قصيد
وإن عدت العيون فلى قصيد
وإن ماست بموج الشعر ريح
فلى فى بحره لحن شديد
وإن طال القوام أطلت شدوى
لباسقة لها طلع نضيد
كأن مروقها -والكعب عال-
خيالات بها أرض تميد
وتترك -بعدما خطرت نسيما-
نسيما إن هفا لان الحديد!
بلون قميصها كحلت عيونى
كأن الأزرق اللون الوحيد!
وأعلم أن بعض نقاط ضعفى
هى الألوان تلبسهن غيد
ولكنى أسير أسير وهمى
وأنزف, والجميلة تستزيد
وحذرنى الوقار فلم أحاذر
وغازلت الغزال كما يريد
إذا دق الجمال فتحتف قلبي
وأهديت الغوانى ما أجيد
نظمت الشعر عقدا حول جيد
وهذا العقد لم يمسسه جيد
نجوم الليل أعشقها جميعا
وأعلم: كلها نجم بعيد.
