لكن سيبقى من يمر فتملأ الجو اللحون
فيعطر الناس الترحم حينما يتذكرون
وكأنه الأب لا يموت وهم بنات أو بنون
ودعاؤهم يأتيه نورا حوله.. أنى يكون
يا أيها الفن المعذب فاتنى منك الجنون
سافرت فى الدنيا شعاعا لاقذاة فى العيون
لكننى آليت فى ترنيمتى ألا أخون
شرفت بالتاج الذى أعلاه قول الله: نون
أجرى لى الله البيان ومن فى اللوح المصون
فزهدت كل غنيمة ليست على غيرى تهون
عمرى قصائد لا تموت، وصاحبى ذكر حنون
وسريرتى فيها اليقين ولست أرمى بالظنون
ولى الحقيقة لا التوهم، والسكينة لا السكون
ولى السلام من السلام إذا التقت منى الجفون.
