وقد اتبع المؤلف في هذه الدارسة منهج التحليل والاستقراء والاستنباط في فهم الأحداث التاريخية، كما اتبع المنهج العلمي في كتابة البحوث العلمية، بهدف الوصول إلى معرفة السيرة والمسيرة المباركة للإمام الكاظم وتقديمها للأجيال الجديدة بلغة جديدة، وفهم جديد، وأسلوب جديد.
