هذه أحدث ترجمةٍ عربيّةٍ لرباعيّات الخيّام وأقلّها عدداً (75) رباعيّة، وهي الّتي رأى فيها الأديب والباحث الإيرانيّ "علي دشتي" "ظنّ الأصالة" أكثر بعد أن تتبعها تتبعاً تاريخيّاً نقديّاً في المظانّ المختلفة، بعد قرنٍ من وفاة الخيّام حتّى عام 740م؛ وبعد أن درس الخيّام، من خلال ما خلّف من آثارٍ في موضوعاتٍ شتّى، ومن خلال نظر معاصريه فيه، دراسةً علميّةً عميقةً جادّةً، في شخّصه ومسلكه وفكره وعقيدته، تختلف كثيراً عن جلّ ما هو متداولٌ عنه توهّماً.
وهي مصدّرةٌ بضوءِ ساطعٍ عن الترجمة ذاتها وطبيعتها، وعن حقيقة رباعيّات الخيّام.
