إن أروى زهر مخرج فى رياض الكلام من الأاكم، وأبهى حبر ببنان البيان وأسنان الأقلام حمدلله سبحانه وتعالى على تواتر نعمائه الزاهرة الظاهرة وترادف آلائه المتوافرة المتظاهرة ثم الصلاة على نبيه محمد المبعوث من اشرف جراثيم الأنام وعلى آله واصحابه الأئمة الأعلام وأزمة الاسلام (وبعد) فيقول الفقير إلى الله الغنى مسعود بن عمر القضاى التفتازبانى بيض تلله غرة أحواله وأورق أغصان آماله: لما رأيت مختصر التصريف تلذى صنعه الإمام الفاضل العالم العامل قدوة لحققين وغرة اللة والدين عفيف الدين عبد الوهاب بن إبراهيم الزنجانى رحمة الله عليه مختصرا ينطوى على مباحث شريف ويحتوى على قواعد لطيفة سنح لى أن أشرحه شرحا يذلل من اللفظ صغابة ويكشف عن وجه المعانى نقابه ويستكشف مكنون غوامضه ويستخرج سر حلوه من حامضه مضيفا إليه فوائد شريفة وزوائد لطيفة مماعثر عليه فكرى الفاتر ونظرى القاصر بعون الله القادر والمرجو ممن المختصر بل قراءة فى علم التصريف، ومن الله الاستعانة وإليه الزلفى، وهو حسب من توكل عليه وكفى.
