لا تزال في الأذهان دعوتها المجرمة عندما قالت: «كل صباح أتمنى أن أصحو ولا أجد طفلًا فلسطينيًّا واحدًا على قيد الحياة». إنها أخطر امرأة في تاريخ الصهيونية بلا منازع، وواحدة من أكثر رموز هذه الحركة تطرفًا، يلقبها الغربيون بـ "أم إسرائيل الحديثة" هذه "المرأة الرجل" – كما يلقبها بعض المؤرخين – هي جولدا مائير؛ زعيمة حزب العمل الإسرائيلي، ورئيسة الحكومة الإسرائيلية في الفترة من 1969م وحتى 1974م، ولدت جولدا مائير عام 1898م لأبوين يهوديين في مدينة "كييف" بروسيا، وسافرت مع أسرتها إلى أمريكا عام 1906م، واستقرت في مدينة "ميلواكي" بولاية ويس كونسن، وتخرجت في معهد المتعلمات بـ"ميلواكي"، وعملت في التدريس العام بالمدينة نفسها، وأثناء هذه الفترة انضمت إلى إحدى الجماعات الصهيونية النشطة، وخلال تواجدها في هذه الجماعة تعرفت على زوجها "موريس ميرسون"؛ الذي كان من الأعضاء البارزين في الحركة، واستطاعت من خلال شخصيتها التسلطية إحكام قبضتها على «ميرسون» لدرجة أنها نجحت في إقناعه بترك كل شيء في أمريكا والسفر معها إلى فلسطين، حيث انخرطت في العمل العام وأصبحت ناشطة معروفة، يعهد إليها بالأعمال المهمة، فانطلقت تبشر بالدولة الجديدة، وتعمل بهمة عالية، وتترقى في المناصب.. حتى وصلت إلى أعلى منصب في الحكومة الإسرائيلية.
لقد أعمى حلم إقامة الدولة عيون جولدا مائير عما سواه من حقائق، فآمنت إيمانًا منحرفًا، وأقنعت الكثيرين بأن فلسطين لهم، وبأن العرب ليسوا موجودين أصلًا، وإن كانت لهم بقايا أو ظلال فهي أضعف من أن تصمد أمام الزحف الصهيوني العنيد، وفي هذا الكتاب، يتناول المؤلف شخصية اليهودية الصهيونية جولدا مائير ومشوارها السياسي، ونشاطها في إقامة دولة إسرائيل والدفاع عنها، ودورها في الحروب التي قامت بين إسرائيل والعرب، وأهم الشخصيات الخائنة التي تعاونت معها، والأحرار الذين ناصبوها العداء طيلة فترة وجودها في الكيان الصهيوني.
