تتقصّى هذه المقالات مسألة التعبير الأدبيّ والفنيّ عن حدث النكبة الفلسطينيّة، وما تبعها من مأساةٍ ميزتٍ تجربة الفلسطينيين / ات منذ ذلك الحين وإلى يومنا هذا، فكلّ مقال منها يتناول عملاً و/ أو أعمالاً فنية تشكيليّةً وأدبيّة حاولت أن تنبنيّ من خلال أحد مواضيع المادّة التاريخيّة التي أنبنى منها هذا الحدث، وعلى الرغم من أنَّ هذه الأعمال الفنيّة والأدبيّة أنتجت في العقد الأخير، أو في لوائح الزمن الفلسطينيّ، بعد هبة أكتوبر 2000 والإنتفاضة الثانية، فإنها تحمل في ثناياها تاريخ أشكال التعبير المختلفة التي نحتت لتعبّر عن حدث النكبة وما تلاه...
وتثير هذه المقالات قضايا عدّة حول التقاء مادّة الحدث الفلسطينيّ بوسائط تعبيريّة مختلفة، وسائط ذات مبنى ماديّ... لغويّ عينيّ وتاريخ تراكميّ خاصّ بها، على الأغلب تطوّرت دونما علاقة مباشرة بمادّة الحدث العينيّ هذا.
إلاّ أن تقصّي أشكال التعبير وطرقه فتح أسئلة عدّةً حول الإمكانيّات التي يتضمّنها كل وسيط كما حول حدوده التقنيّة والأخرى، التي لا يمكن أن تتجاوزه مادّة الحدث في لحظة الإلتقاء هذا ومكانه.
لذلك، فبمقدار ما تتقصّى هذه المقالات مسألة التعبير الإبداعيّ عن النكبة الفلسطينيّة، فهي تفحص مجموعة من وسائط التعبير الحداثيّة، مقاربةً، تحديداً، ترحال الوسائط الفنيّة التشكيليّة والأدبيّة من إدعائها الكونيّ إلى خاصيّة حديثة لا تزال تتوالد مأساة.
