ولأهمية هذا الكتاب، عمد الدكتور إياد إبراهيم على جمعه وتحقيقه وتحدث حديثاً مقتضباً عن حياته وأسرته، ومولده ووفاته، وآراء الناس فيه، والإشارة إلى شيوخه وتلاميذه ومؤلفاته، بهدف تسليط الضوء على هذا العَلَم المشهود له بالفضل وصلته بأعلام عصره وموقعه فيهم.
