يرجع اختياري لموضوع "المسئولية عن الغش في السلع" إلى تزايد الأهتمام منذ قبيل منتصف القرن الماضي, بالتصدي لهذا الموضوع من الناحية القانونية, بسبب انتشار ظاهرة الغش بصورة كبيرة, حيث طال جميع السلع.
وسيكون منهج البحث قائماً على التحليل والاستدلال, وأود أن أنوه إلى أنني أعني بالمسئولية عن الغش في السلع تلك المسئولية الناشئة من المنتجات المعيبة عن الأضرار التي تلحقها بالمتعاملين عليها, باعتبار عيوب الإنتاج نوعاً من الغش الذي يرتكبه المنتج أو الموزع يستأهل مساءلته مدنياً عن تلك الأضرار, فضلاً عن المساءلة الجنائية إن كان فعل الغش المرتكب يشكل جريمة تدخل في نطاق قانون العقوبات ويخرج, من ثم, من نطاق هذا البحث.
وينقسم هذا البحث إلى فصل تمهيدي, وبابين, وخاتمة: في الفصل التمهيدي أتناول ماهية الغش في السلع وصفة مقترف واقعة الغش, وفي الباب الأول أتناول أنواع الغش في السلع وذلك في فصلين: الفصل الأول وفيه الغش أو "التعيب" في مرحلة الإنتاج, الفصل الثاني وفيه الغش في مرحلة التوزيع أي "الوسائل الاحتيالية لترويج السلعة", وفي الباب الثاني أتناول أحكام المسئولية عن الغش في السلع وذلك في ثلاثة فصول: الفصل الأول وفيه أساس المسئولية عن الغش في السلع, الفصل الثاني - وفيه انعقاد المسئولية عن الغش في السلع في ظل قانون التجارة الجديد, الفصل الثالث وفيه دعوى المسئولية عن الغش في السلع في ظل قانون التجارة الجديد, ثم خاتمة وتتضمن أهم نتائج البحث والتوصيات.
