1-هذه الطبعة وردت بلونين: الأسود العادي وهو مؤلف الكتاب، والأحمر وهو للمعلق على الكتاب السيد مرتضى الزبيدي المتوفى سنة 1205هـج، والأسود الغامق وهو للمحقق.
أما الطبعات المتوفرة فهي بلون واحد، وكل من ينقل منها يظن أن كل ما مدون هو للمؤلف مما أوقع الكثير في الحيرة، لأنه توجد سلاسل هي ليست من عصر المؤلف.
2-هذه الطبعة فصلت بين مقدمة المؤلف ومادة الكتاب وشروحاته بينما في الطبعات المتوفرة يوجد دمج.
3-في هذه الطبعة يوجد تفصيل عن النسخ الخطية المتوفرة لهذا الكتاب، والتي اعتمد المحقق عليها.
4-في الطبعات المتوفرة من هذا الكتاب يوجد حذف وإختصار كثير جداً للمادة العلمية التي وردت في نسخة (1099هجـ) والتي اعتمدنا عليها في هذه الطبعة وأرجعنا المحذوف وذكرنا جميع الشروحات والهوامش.
5-يمتاز هذا الكتاب بطريقة التشجير الحديثة التي إعتمدها المحقق في كثير من مؤلفاته المطبوعة، فهي طريقة غير معقدة وواضحة للباحث والقارئ.
