Au debut des annees 60, il a choisi de vivre et travailler au Liban.
Il y a analyse, enseigne, publie les architectures traditionnelles du pays, tout en pratiquant son metier d'architecte contemporain. C'etait le temps de la premiere edition de ''L'Habitation au Liban'', d'un inventaire des sites et architectures remarquables du Liban, des premieres etudes de Jounieh et autres demarches de connaissance et de sauvegarde... Aujourd'hui avec ses partenaires et collaborateurs de l'Atelier des Architectes Associes, AAA, il continue a batir mais aussi a s'interroger sur cet heritage et sa relation avec la modernite et la reconstruction du pays.
