ينطلق كتاب الباحث مراد دياني بعنوان "حرية – مساواة – اندماج اجتماعي: نظرية العدالة في النموذج الليبرالي المستدام من فكرة باتت سائدة في العالم العربي هي أن فهم الحرية مقصور على البعد السياسي، في حين أنها ما تزال مستهجنة في المجال الاقتصادي ولم تصل إلى حدود الإجماع عليها. ويبدو هذا التنافر بين المجالين السياسي والاقتصادي أمرًا بداهيًّا في غياب النموذج الليبرالي الاجتماعي المتّسق مع مفاهيم العدالة التي تشمل الحرية والمساواة والاندماج الاجتماعي.
وهذا الكتاب محاولة لاستكشاف شروط اتساق الحرية والمساواة في العالم العربي في ضوء التحولات الجديدة التي تعصف به، ولاستشراف النماذج البديلة من الليبرالية المتوحشة وفي المقام الأول النظام الليبرالي الاجتماعي.
وفي هذا المجال يعرض الكاتب نظريات العدالة في الفكر الغربي لا سيما العدالة كإنصاف عند جون رولز، حيث يستهل الكتاب مقاربته المعيارية لإشكالية اتّساق الحرية والمساواة داخل نظرية العدالة التي تشكّل عنصراً مركزياً لمرحلة ما بعد الربيع العربي، والتي يُبنى عليها الكثير من الرهانات السياسية أو الاقتصادية أو الاجتماعية.
وقد قسّم الكتاب إلى خمسة فصول توزعت وفق ما يلي: الفصل الأول: "إستشراف النماذج المستدامة البديلة من الأرثوذكسية النيوليبرالية"، الفصل الثاني: "نظرية العدالة كإنصاف ونظيراتها الليبرالية المساواتية"، الفصل الثالث: "ثلاث قراءات نقدية للنظرية الرولزية للعدالة"، الفصل الرابع: "براح إتساق الحرية والمساواة في نظرية العدالة الليبرالية"، الفصل الخامس: "نظرية العدالة الليبرالية كأساس للنموذج المتسق والمستدام لما بعد الربيع العربي".
