هذا الإصدار يتضمن كتابين؛ هما: (لامية الأفعال) لابن مالك، و: (نظم سبائك اللجين بجمع أنظام مباحث اللَّامية وطرَّة ابن زين) للشيخ يوميَّة بن محمد السعيد بن أبّيَّاه..
والكتاب الأول جليل القدر عظيم المنفعة؛ ذلك أنّ "ألفية ابن مالك" في النحو – التي شرّقت وغرّبت، وسار بها الركبان، وطار بها طلبة العلم -، جعل لها ناظمها ابن مالك رحمه الله لَحَقاً كالتكملة، ألا وهو "لامية الأفعال"، فذكر فيها ما أغفله في "الخلاصة" من مباحث الصرف، خاصة صرف الأفعال.
و"اللَّامية" منظومة من البحر البسيط، بلغ عدد أبياتها مائة وأربعة عشر (114) بيتاً، مقسمة على اثني عشر (12) باباً، وسمِّيت بهذا الإسم؛ لأنها بنيت على رويّ اللام، وأضيفت إلى الأفعال تغليباً لها لا اختصاصاً بها.
أما الكتاب الثاني وهو (نظم سبائك اللجين)؛ فهو عبارة عن مجموعة أنظام مضافة للاَّمية كالشارحة لها، أو المقيِّدة لمطلقها، أو فيها بعض ما استُدرك على ابن مالك، أو غير ذلك.
