والملاحظ على سياقات القصيدة الملحمية أنّها جاءت بمفردات شعبية تحاكي كل بيئة وخصائصها، ممّا شكل مفردات قاموسية شعبية، يمكن الرجوع إليها من قبل دارسي الفولكلور والتراث الشعبي في العراق.
