ولد جورج أوشاوا في اليابان ونشر نظام الماكروبيوتيك الذي شفاه من داء السل الرئوي قبل أن يبلغ العشرين من عمره.
نجح أوشاوا في نشر الماكروبيوتيك في العالم أجمع بمساعدة زوجته وتلامذته الذين نذكر منهم الرواد ميتشيو كوشي وإيهارا.
توفي في 23 أبريل 1966.
Book Description
كل إنسان يعرف الحياة، ومع ذلك لا أحد يعرفها تلك هي الحياة. تتبع الحياة ثلاث مراحل تطورية:
-المرحلة الأولى هي مرحلة التمدد اللانهائي، مرحلة العالم الذي ليس له بداية ولا نهاية (العالم اللامحدود، عالم الله).
-المرحلة الثانية هي اللولب: استقطاب الـ"ين" والـ"يانغ" وهذا يعني عالم الموجودات غير العضوية.
-المرحلة الثالثة هي عالم الكائنات العضوية (ظهور الكائنات الحية).
وهكذا فإن هذا الكتاب يقدم المفهوم اللولبي لنظام الكون، وهو المفهوم الذي يساعد الإنسان على فهم ذاته وعلى الشفاء من الإحباط والتغلب على كل المصاعب بمتعة وسعادة.
إن مفهوم "جورج أوشاوا" عن "الإنسان والكون" يوحد الإنسان بالكون والعقل بالمادة ولذا، هذا المفهوم يقودنا من الثنائية إلى التوحيد ويجعل الحياة بسيطة وسعيدة، وبهذا المعنى، فإن هذا الكتاب الصغير لأوشاوا هو الأكثر أهمية من كل الكتب، مثلما قال ذلك بنفسه.
