في البداية كانت أمنية، والأمنية أصبحت حلماً، والحلم تحول إلى حقيقة... حقيقة عشناها ولمسناها وانتشينا بانتصارها على "الجيش الذي لا يقهر"، ولكن هذا الانتصار لم يكن ليصبح حقيقية لولا الانتفاضة والوقوف في وجه العدو الغاشم الذي انتهك جميع المحرمات واستباح لنفسه امتهان الكرامات وخرق سيادة الدول وإذلال شعوبها.
من هذا المنطلق بدأنا في المركز الثقافي اللبناني بإعداد موسوعة تسلط الضوء على الأبطال الذين سقوا بدمائهم أرض الوطن، ونروي من خلالها قصة شعب ناضل من أجل تحرير أرضه من عدو متسلط محتل، بعد دراسة وعمل دام سنوات وبمساعدة المخلصين، تم بإذن الله إصدار موسوعة المقاومة اللبنانية المؤلفة من 12 مجلد، والتي تتضمن مسيرة عقود من النضال والتضحيات، ومن أبرز مواضيع الموسوعة: الأطماع الإسرائيلية في لبنان، الاعتداءات المتكررة على الشعبين اللبناني والفلسطيني داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، احتلال الجنوب اللبناني، اجتياح العام 1982، بداية المقاومة ضد الاحتلال، العمليات البطولية للمقاومين حتى التحرير في العام 2000. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تتضمن الموسوعة نشأة حزب الله، قادته ورموزه ومواقفهم، نضاله وشهدائه، مؤسساته.
وكهدية يتم إرفاق الموسوعة 2cd تتضمن صور للعمليات البطولية للمقاومين، ومعلومات مفصلة عن محتوى الموسوعة، بالإضافة إلى صور لقادة حزب الله وعلمائه، وصور للشهداء الذين استشهدوا خلال العمليات الاستشهادية والنوعية.
