قدر للحركة الشعرية العربية. في مجرى تطورها المتصل، أن تشهد في العقد الأخير تحولات جذرية تطال العمق وتمس الخرائط التقليدية بقوة ونفاذ، فتعيد تخليقها في محاضنها البكر الخلاقة، وتصوغ بدبيب أناملها سيماء جديدة وخصائص نوعية مفارقة. وهو ما كان، في حقيقته، إيذاناً باستواء مشهد شعري طازج، يتفق مع نظيره السابق في قواسم مشتركة لا مفر من الإقرار بها، ويباينه في رقعة رحيبة توائم ما استحدث من رؤى، وما طرأ من سياقات، وفي المساحة القائمة بين الاتفاق والمباينة مضت التجربة الشعرية تصغوغ تياراتها، وتصنع حراكها، وتفرخ رموزها وأجيالها، وتنسج في حميا هذا الحراك الشامل المحتقن نمطاً فريداً من التطور يماس مع التراث الممتد في تضمينات أو تناصات حيناً، وقد يستدير هذا التراث، برمته، في قطيعة (إبستمولوجية) تصر في مسعاها المعلن على بتر أوردة الاتصال ورشائجه حيناً آخر!
وأياً ما كانت تجليات هذا التطور ونتائجه المتحققة أو المرتجاة، فإن أمانة الضمير التقدي المصاحب لأية حركة شعرية باذخة مستنيرة، يتعين أن تكون حافزاً محرضاً على استفراغ الجهد النقدي دون تقاعس أو وناء، لارتياد الخرائط الجديدة، وتصنيف نماذجها اللافتة، والوقوف على تياراتها المتآزرة أو المتجادلة (أو حتى المتدابرة!).
وعلى خلفية هذه التطورات النوعية الغائرة، خرجت هذه الدراسة لتحشد أدواتها النقدية في مراح زمني يمتد نحواً من عشر سنوات، سلختها تجربة الشعر العربي من عمرها المتطاول، لتتنفس تجربة النقد الأجواء ذاتها التي تتنفس بها تجربة الإبداع الشعري في صدر الألفية الميلادية الثالثة.
