إنضمت مصر إلى إتفاقية فيينا بشأن عقود البيع الدولي للبضائع في 6 ديسمبر 1982، فأصبحت أحكامها، من ثم، قانوناً من قوانينها، وعلى هذا فقد عالجت موضوع (عقود البيع الدولى للبضائع) في ثلاثة فصول: الفصل الأول يتناول قانون التجارة الدولي تاريخياً بدء من مصر الفرعونية حتى إنشاء غرفة التجارة الدولية، الفصل الثاني ويشمل قانون التجارة الدولي من خلال إتفاقية فيينا بشأن عقود البيع الدولي للبضائع ونطاق تطبيق الإتفاقية والبيوع الخاضعة لها وأركان عقد البيع الدولي، الفصل الثالث ويتضمن البيع الدولي للبضائع من حيث الأحكام العامة وإلتزامات البائع وإلتزامات المشترى.
