يحتوي الكتاب على ثلاثة عشر قصيدة قصيرة للشاعرة ، والشاعرة من السعودية تكتب بالفصحى وبالعامية ومواضيع قصائدها تتناول أغراض الشعر المختلفة ومجالاته المتعددة وقد تكتب شعرا وطنيا ايضا فهى تحمل على كاهلها عبئ وهموم الوطن العربي ومن أهمها القضية الفلسطينية والغزو الأمريكي للعراق كما أنها لا تنسى القصائد العاطفية التى تحدد فيها علاقة الرجل بالمرأة فهى تركز على كبرياء المرأة في الحب وليس من الضرورة أن تكون هذه القصائد حاملة لتجاربها الشخصية فقد استطاعت ان تصور التجارب التى عاشتها من خلال عيون الآخرين فهى سمعت عنها فقط فانفعلت ثم كتبت وكانت النتيجة هذا الديوان المعبر بالأحاسيس الأنثوية وصغفها أمام نافذة.
