لقد عمت الثورة الشعبية العربية الفلسطينية الكبرى عام 1936 جميع فئات الشعب كالغيمة الكبرى، وتجلت روعتها في إنتقالها لجميع البلاد بعد أيام من إنفجارها في جبل نابلس، وقد فاقت جميع الإنتفاضات والثورات التي سبقتها، وتسابقت جميع فئات الشعب في حمل البندقية في وجه المدفع، والطائرة، وسطر قلم الصحافة كلماته في وجه الظلم والطغيان، وكانت اقوى الحركات الثورية الشعبية في منطقة جبل نابلس التي أسهم رجالها وأبطالها في دورهم الطليعي في قيادة فصائل الثورة، وكان هياج الشعب الفلسطيني وغضبه الكبير نتيجة لنمو المشروع الصهيوني على حساب عرب فلسطين الأرض والهوية والإنسان.
فجاء الإضراب الكبير والثورة الشعبية العارمة التي قاتل فيها الثوار بسلاحهم القديم والمحدود قوات بريطانيا العظمى وربيبتها العصابات الصهيونية مقدمة تضحيات جسام في حماسة لا تجارى وبطولة لا تبارى.
