هذا فهرست يضم أسماء مصنفي الشيعة جمعه الشيخ الكوفي وأسماه رجال النجاشي، وقد جمع من ذلك ما استطاع؛ وقد جعل للأسماء أبواباً على الحروف ليهون على الملتمس لإسم مخصوص منها. نذكر منهم: آدم بن إسحاق، أبان بن عثمان الأحمر، إسحاق بن بشر، بشر بن سليمان، ثعلبة بن ميمون، ثعلبة بن ميمون، جعفر الأودي، جميل بن دراج، حسان بن مهران، الحسن بن علي بن سبرة، داود بن كثير، رجاء بن يحيى، منصور بن العباس وغيرهم الكثير حيث بلغ عدد المصنفين 1269 إسم.
