فـي بلاط النجاشي.. جرتْ لي وقائعٌ جسيمة، أحدثتْ لي تغـيراتٍ عظيمة.. جعلتـني أنقلب من النقيض إلى النقيض؛
وقائعٌ اقتلعتْ –من وِجْدَاني- قيماً.. ورسَّـختْ قيماً أخرى مضادةً لها، ولستُ أُبالغ.. إذ أقول أنَّها زلزلتْ وجداني.. فـجعلتني أُزلزل الأرض تحت أقدام ملوك.. وأُحطِّم عروشهم.
هـزَّتْ قلـبي.. وفتَّحتْ بصيرتي؛ فأبصرتُ النور.. بعدما كنتُ أتخبَّط في الظلمات، انتشلتني من أوحال الباطل الـتي كنتُ غارقاً فيها؛
فاهتديتُ إلى الحق، ووهبتُه نفسي.. لـيسخِّرني –حيث شاء- كيما يهتدي إليه الناس.. مثلما اهتديتُ،
انبعثتُ أدعو إلى الحق وأدافع عنه.. بعدما كنتُ أُحاربه!!
