((رايات المبرزات وغايات المميزات من النساء الأندلسيات))، هذا هو الإسم الذي اخترته ليكون عنواناً لهذا الكتاب الذي ألّفته على غرار كتاب المرحوم أبي الحسين علي بن موسى بن سعيد الأندلسي المتوفى سنة 685هـ / 1286م الذي ترجم فيه لمائة وثلاثة عشر رجلاً وثلاث نساء فقط من مُبَرَّزي ومُبَرَّزات أهل الأندلس.
إن البون الشاسع بين عدد الرجال الكبير وعدد النساء المتدني ليدل - بوضوح - على إهتمام ابن سعيد بالرجال وعلى إهماله الخوض في بحر تاريخ النساء وتدوين أخبارهن، إن هذا الأمر لفت إنتباهنا بشدة ودفعنا للتحري عن أسباب هذا التباين اللامعقول فلم نجد إلا الحدس والتخمين، فقلنا: قد يكون وقع هذا الأمر صدفة، أو قد يكون ابن سعيد قليل الإطلاع على أخبار النساء، وأسوأ ظنوننا أن المؤلف ما زال حبيس العادات والتقاليد الجاهلية التي تنظر إلى المرأة على أنها (عورة)، ومن الأمور المعيبة التحدث عنها وذكر حتى اسمها.
ولدى مراجعتنا لجملة من كتب التراجم لبعض مشاهير المؤرخين الأندلسيين الذين سبقوا ابن سعيد والذين تلوه عثرنا على أصل الظاهرة ومنبع المشكلة، فتبيّن - بجلاء - أن ابن سعيد كان قد انتهج المنهج الذي سار عليه سابقوه من المؤرخين الأندلسيين.
