يوثق هذا الكتاب لما أحدثته يد التخريب الإسرائيلية والآلة العسكرية الصهيونية من تخريب ودمار في مناطق الضفة الغربية. ففي أعقاب وصول شارون إلى السلطة في إسرائيل سارع إلى تشكيل حكومة حرب بالائتلاف مع غلاة اليمنيين والمتطرفين من صقور حزب العمل وقد وجد شارون في بوش الابن حليفاً رئيسياً يخوض معه حرباً على "الإرهاب" المتمثل في العرب والمسلمين.
وكأن شارون يهدف بعمله هذا إلى إنهاء السلطة الفلسطينية وتدمير المؤسسات وكل مظاهر العمران التي أقامها الفلسطينيون لضمان عدم قيام أي كيان فلسطيني في المستقبل. وقد جاءت زيارة شارون للحرم الشريف بعد تخطيط مسبق لها ولنتائجها وذلك في يوم 27 سبتمبر 2000 لتشتعل بعد ذلك انتفاضة الأقصى المباركة التي قدم فيها الشعب الفلسطيني الكثير من الشهداء والجرحى.
ولقد توخى القائمون على إعداد هذا الكتاب الصدق والدقة في عرض الوثائق ففضحوا بذلك ارتكابات الجيش الإسرائيلي ضد المدنيين الفلسطينيين.
