وتحدث الكتاب عن الشروط المتعلقة بالمواريث والوراث وموانع الإرث والقتل والمانع للإرث كما ناقش آراء الفقهاء في القتل الذي يمنع الميراث واختلاف الدين والمرتد وورثة الحمل وتحدث عن ارث المشكوك في ذكورته( الخنثى) وارث ومراتب الورثة واجتماع الورثة وطريقة قسمة التركة بين الوارثين كما تطرق الكتاب إلى أدلة الميراث بالردود مشروعيته والقول بجواز الرد وكيفية تقسيم الرد في التركه وقواعد التوريث والحرمان من التركة وبيع التركة كما تناول قسمة الأراضي الخراجية وأراضي عشرية وحقوق انتقال الأراضي في القانون كما تطرق لمباحث فتفرقة كميراث نتاج وطء المسلم لبعض محارمه وميراث دية المقتول والتوارث بين الأخوة من الزنا.
