إذا كان هناك من "انسجام" نتوق إلى معاينته في الكتابة، فإنه انسجام النص مع كاتبته فى مساحة الصدق المتبادل بينهما: كأنما لا كتابة بهذه الخصيصة بغير كاتبتها فقط. إنه نص لا يتماثل مع غيره ولا يكون، عند المراجعة النقدية، صدى لـ "قراءات" برانية مشابهة، أو خاضعاً لما هو ليس منه وفيه.
إن لغة (جميلة عمايرة) تكاد تحاذي القطع في تحديدها، وإشعار القارئ بأن الخاتمة جاءت إثر نفاذ الصبر!
من هنا تجيء المباغتة في كتابة جميلة عمايرة، حيث إن لغتها، رغم قطعيتها وإهمالها شبه الكلي للتجمل: إلا أن حصيلة بنيتها تمنح القارئ مساحات إضافية ليملأها بتأويلاته.
إذن: ليس هنالك من يقين، وربما. أجازف مجتهداً. لا تتم عملية البحث عنه إلا كركيزة أو مبرر للدخول في مسالك قد يؤدي إليه، أو قد تزيده ابتعاداً.
وفي هذا المسار الباحث عن اليقين، أي يقين، تتحول رجلة القص باتجاهه لتكون أشبه بالرحلة إلى "إيثاكا" فبالوصول إلى إيثاكا، اليقين لا يعود هو الغاية.. أو بالأحرى "مغزاها وجوهرها" وإنما الرحلة ذاتها بما تكتنفه من سيل، وطرائق وتقليب أوجه، واكتشاف للذات أولاً وأخيراً.
