تحت عنوان (الدلالة الزمنية للجملة العربية في القرآن الكريم) يقدم الباحث الدكتور نافع علوان بهلول الجبوري دراسته حول جزئيات الزمن ودقائقه في الجملة العربية في قسميها الفعلي والإسمي بقصد الكشف عن مفهوم (الدلالة، الزمن، الجملة) في النص القرآني.
تقسم الدراسة إلى قسمين: القسم الأول من الدراسة خصص للكشف عن حدود الزمن في الجملة الفعلية، وقد تضمن ثلاثة فصول تناولت: الدلالة الزمنية للجملة الفعلية المصدرة بالفعل الماضي، والجملة الفعلية المصدرة بفعل مضارع أو ما يدل عليه، وطبيعة الجملة المصدرة بفعل أمر أو ما يدل عليه ...
وطبيعة القسم الثاني فيتناول الجملة الإسمية وقد اشتمل على ثلاثة فصول: تبحث في الجملة الإسمية المجردة عن النواسخ الفعلية والحرفية مع الكشف عن حدود الزمن في الجملة الإسمية، ثم دلالة الجملة الإسمية المنسوخة مع التركيز على النواسخ الفعلية (كان وأخواتها) و (أفعال المقاربة والشروع)، فضلاً عن الحديث عن المشتقات ولا سيما المشهور منها كإسم الفاعل، والمفعول والصفة المشبهة وصيغة المبالغة، مع الإشارة إلى تناول المؤلف الجمل تبعاً لسياقاتها المتعددة ومراعاة طبيعة الأسلوب الذي وردت فيه، إذ تحدث عن الأسلوب الشرطي، وأسلوب الترجي، والتمني وأسلوب الإستفهام ودلالة الجملة فيه. وختم الدراسة بأهم النتائج ولعل أبرزها أن زمن النص القرآني زمن سياقي لا يمكن الصيغة أن تحدده، وإن القرائن هي المحددة له وهي أقوى من الصيغ في الدلالة على الزمن في سياق الجمل ... ونتائج أخرى ذات أهمية.
