وهذا المؤلف يدون للقارئ قصة الكتاب ومسيرته مع الإنسان منذ أن كانت العظام ملعباً للحروف إلى أن طرح عالم الكمبيوتر على الكتاب تحدياً قاسياً بعد أن وفر إمكانية التعامل مع أقراص الليزر. ومع كل ما يقدمه العالم الجديد من تحديات للكتاب سيواصل القراء حبهم لتحسس ملمس صفحات الكتب، وللكتابة على هوامشها ووضع خطوط بالقلم تحت سطورها.
