بين يدي القارئ مذكرات لملمت خيوطها ونسجت أفكارها صوراً من أيام وليال قضيتها في رحلتي العلاجية لعلاج عيني في مدينة لندن لزرع القرنية.
حيث كتبتُ هذه المذكرات وما فيها من صور تمتعتُ بها ورافقتها ورافقتني وما جدَّ فيها من تطور في تلك الرحلة وكنت أسجل جميع الخلجات والسانحات إلا ما شدَّ منها وما ندر حتى أنهيتُ تلك الرحلة وختمتها بفجر ضَحوك، غير أنَّ الحياة لا تتم ولا تكمل مهما حاولت وزاولتَ فلا بد للبسمة أن تقابلها دمعة وللصباح أن يقابله ليل وهكذا الحياة فعندما عدت من رحلتي العلاجية طلعت في سماء حياتي غمامة سوداء كدرت حياتي وتركتني في وحدة صامتة خرساء وتزيد هذه الوحدة ألماً فقدي للرعاية التي كنت في أمسِّ حاجة لها لأنّه لم يمضِ على إجرائي عملية زرع القرنية سوى بضعة أيام معدودة لم تتعدَ الشهر بل لا تتجاوز ثلاثة وعشرين يوماً وكانت تغطي عند النوم بزجاجة والقطرات مستمرة بعد كل ساعتين، والرعاية مفتقدة في حاجتي الماسة إلى كل شيء حتى الإستحمام، وماذا أصور لك من ضروريات ماسّة مفتقد لها في تلك الفترة التي ضُبِبَ في جوها ذلك الليل وغام على سماء حياتي، فعشت وحيداً وأعقَبَ ذلك الليل سهراً مضني سهدَّني طيلة أربعة شهور او تزيد أيام على تلك الأشهر ولكنَّ ربي أنجاني من هذا الضباب وأشرق لي أنواراً وهبت ريح تبدد هذا الضباب وفجر يمحو هذا الظلام.
