تلك النبذة لا علاقة لها بمحتوى المجموعة على الإطلاق!! لأنني وددت أن أشرح فيها لماذا أطلقت على تلك المجموعة القصصية هذا الاسم "مثير ومُلفت للانتباه" وتلك قصة طويلة تبدأ بأيام قضيتها في البحث عن اسم يصلح لمجموعة قصص لا رابط بينها بالفعل سوى قلمي، حيث إنني كتبت بعضها منذ أكثر من عشر سنوات والبعض الآخر منذ عدة أيام!.
لذا كان الأمر صعبًا بشكل لا يصدق، أن أجد عنوانًا واحدًا يعبر عن تلك الأفكار الكثيرة التي اجتمعت في كتاب واحد وفي ذات الوقت يكون عنوانًا "مثيرًا ومُلفتًا للانتباه"، ويضيف: كان الحل الأسهل هو اختيار اسم أي قصة بالداخل لتكون عنوانًا للمجموعة، لكنني بصراحة لم أستسيغ هذا الأمر بل ووجدته أقرب ما يكون إلى خداع القارئ عبر الإيحاء له بأن المجموعة تسير جميعها في اتجاه ما مع أن الأمر عكس ذلك تمامًا، فالمجموعة تلاطم الأمواج بلا هدف واضح فتارة هي بين السياسة والدين وتارة بين الثورة والتاريخ وأخرى بين القصص الواقعية والذكريات، لذا فقد اتخذت قراري بالنهاية بأن أترك العنوان كما أردته دائماً "مثيرًا ومُلفتًا للانتباه" وبلا أي إضافات أخرى سوى أن أخبرك وبصراحة أن تلك المجموعة قد كتبت بكل صدق من القلب.. وهذا ما أظن أنك تبحث عنه الآن.. بعدما تعرفت على قصة اختيار العنوان!.
