بمجرد أن وضع أول خطواته عند الباب الخارجي للمشرحة سمع صوت طلقات رصاص في المكان، فأسرع للاحتماء وراء العمود الخرساني الضخم للباب، لكن الرصاص تزايد، فاضطر للانبطاح أرضاً... وبعين واحدة وهو راقد على الأرض رأى مجموعة تهرول مسرعة وهي تحمل ثلاثة صناديق.
فهم في الحال أنها الجثث الثلاثة وقدتم اختطافها، وفي الحال أدرك أيضاً: "أن توقعاته كانت دقيقة ولم يخب ظنه، لكن الظروف كانت أقوى منه".
قام من على الأرض ليجد أن كل شيء قد انتهى، وأن المختطفين قد فروا من المكان وتلاشوا تماماً.
دخل إلى المشرحة، ليجد أرضيتها المبلطة وقد تلومن بنقاط صغيرة من الدم نزف من جراح ثلاثة من الرجال، الذين كانوا يحرسون المكان بناء على توجيهاته، وكانوا في انتظار أن تأتي قوة إضافية مكونة من سبعة أشخاص لتنضم إليهم، لكن قبل أن يصلوا كان أعوان خصمه قد دخلوا المكان ونفذوا خطتهم.
