Usman Umar Assaqafiy was born in Gombe State, Nigeria, in 1998 AD.
He grew up in Gombe, where he studied religion and modernity.
He lives in the care of his parents and his family.
He wrote more than 30 religious, social and political books in Hausa and Arabic, and also translated Arabic books into Hausa.
He currently teaches in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the Adam Tafawa Balewa College of Education in Bauchi State, Kangere.
