إن الإسلام كان سباقا في إرساء قواعد أساسية ليقوم البيع وفق نظام قانوني متكامل ويستند إلى أسس تبادلية تتساوى فيها الحقوق الشرعية لكل من البائع والمشتري. ومن خلال دراسة المؤلف لهذا الموضوع فقد تعرض لعقد البيع وبين خصائصه ثم القي نظرة موجزة على الطبيعة القانونية لعقد البيع القانون المقارن وعلى مبدأ انتقال ملكية المبيع لمجرد العقد في كلا التشريعين المغربي والأردني وانتقل بعد ذلك إلى إلقاء نظرة تاريخية على التزام المشتري بأداء الثمن وكذلك إلى إلقاء نظرة تاريخية على التزام المشتري بأداء الثمن وذلك في مدخل تمهيدي ومن ثم تناول جوهر الموضوع وهو التزام المشتري بأداء الثمن في ثلاثة أبواب حيث أن الأول تكلم عن طبيعة وكيفية تحديد الثمن والثاني عن شروط الثمن والمؤيدات والضمانات القانونية لأداء الثمن قد تناولها الموضوع الثالث وفي الختام سلط الضوء على ما استنبطه في بحثه من ملاحظات واقتراحات حول موضوع البحث.
