هذه دراسة في بعض موضوعات النقد الأدبي الحديث أرمي من خلالها إلى تقديم معرفة متخصصة فيه لتيسير بعض دقائقه وضبط قواعده، وقد حاولت إقامتها على أسس موضوعية عن طريق دراسة النصوص النقدية في ذاتها، وقيض لي فيها أن أحدد منهجاً من مناهج النقد الحديث ليكون ميداناً لها بوصفه مثالاً تطبيقياً في تحليل الخطاب النقدي فكانت الأسلوبية هي الأقرب في الاختيار بدافع التعمق فيما فقهناه من مشروعها في دراستنا المتخصصة السابقة. وكان لما رأيته من سعة في الجهد الأسلوبي المنتج (تنظيراً وتطبيقاً) أهمية في التفكير بدراسته وإقامة الحوار النقدي حوله ومعه في الوقت ذاته، وذلك كان من الدوافع المهمة للبحث، فكلما كثر النتاج الفكري ازدادت الحاجة إلى مراجعته وفتح نوافذ الحوار معه ليتخذ القارئ موقفاً منه في القبول والتقديم.
ولا ريب في أن الهدف الرئيس من إقامة هذا البحث هو التوصل إلى معرفة المرتكزات التي بنت الأسلوبية عليها خطابها، فضلاً عن الرغبة في الاستزادة من المعرفة التخصصية في مجالها فهي المقصد الذي أحاول تحقيقه في خطابي النقدي هذا، ولا بد لي بموجب ذلك من التشخيص المحكم لإطار البحث ومنهجه على قدر المستطاع فإنه ييسر للباحث محاولة الارتقاء إلى مستوى الرؤية الموضوعية ليأمن التكلف في تأمله الشامل في أبعاد الموضوع مما يهيئ له صفة علمية يؤطر بها صورة الإشكالية التي يعرضها في البحث في أثناء إقامة حواره النقدي مع المؤلفات (الكتب) التي يشملها في دراسته ويتوجه بخطابها غلى القارئ المهتم ليكون طرفاً ذا أهمية في الجانب المقابل، ولقد رسمنا البحث في خطوات مترابطة تؤدي جميعها إلى خدمة البحث العلمي في النقد العربي الحديث.
