تمثل الأسلوبية (Stylistics) فرعاً مهماً من اللسانيات استطاع أن يقتحم عالم الأدب يتجاوزه لمنطقة اللغة التي عمل (شارل بالي) على قصره عليها.
فقد انبرى اللسانيون والشكلانيون والبنيويون على تأسيس علم يبحث عن أدبية الأدب وشعريته من خلال الدعوة إلى عملية الأدب ونقده بعيداً عن المناهج التقليدية.
إنَّ المتتبع لنشأة الأسلوبية يرجعها إلى محاولات (فرديناند دي سوسير) (Ferdinand Saussur) (1913- 1857م) الذي وضع قواعد التفكير البنيوي في اللسانيات بوضع كتابه (محاضرات في الألسنية العامة) الذي نشر سنة 1915م، الذي جعل من اللغة نفسها ميداناً لدراسته رافضاً الإعتراف بأي معيار خارجي عنها، وهو ما سمي (علم اللغة النصي).
وإنطلاقاً من رؤية تؤكد الإفصاح عن مفهوم الأسلوبية بوصفه منهجاً نقدياً حديثاً تم تأسيس الفصل الأول ليتضمن (الأسلوبية مفهومها، إتجاهاتها)، فتناول المبحث الأول مفاهيم الأسلوبية وعني المبحث الثاني بإتجاهاتها، أما الفصل الثاني فقد خصص للكشف عن الأسس التي تقوم عليها الأسلوبية، أما الحديث في الفصل الثالث فكان منصباً حول أبرز علماء الأسلوبية الغربيين.
إن علاقة الأسلوبية بعلم اللغة حميمية تتميز بالتداخل عبر مد جسور التلاقي والتقارب إلى حد التكامل فيما بينها، فهي تعنى بالكشف عن الملامح الجمالية للغة عبر سبر أغوارها من خلال تشريح النص، وفك شفراته، وتحديد المهيمنات الاسلوبية داخل بنية النص، وتجلية قيمته الفنية بمنهج جمالي مستنداً على القواعد العلمية في التعامل مع النصوص الأدبية، وفي هذا السياق يقع أساس موضوع هذه الدراسة.
