يُشكِّل "الفَنّ التَّشكيليّ ومَناهج النَّقد الحديثة" للدكتورة علياء مُحسن إنارة على أَهَمِّيَّة العلاقة المتداخلة بين الفنّ ونَقْده والرسم منه على نحو خاصّ، فكان لا بدّ من محاولة تأطير تلك العلاقة بأسلوب أو نظام يتمكّن من إحتواء التعالقات والتداخلات في بعض مؤسّسات المناهج النقديّة الحديثة، والتباينات والمتغيّرات في البعض الآخر، فضلاً عن التباينات والتنوِّعات في فنون الرسم الحديثة والتي تتميّز بالتحوّلات الأسلوبيّة، إذ يمكن تحقيق النظام بأنموذج نقديّ تحليليّ يرتكز على منطلقات الفنّ الحديث ومؤسّسات المناهج النقديّة المواكبة له.
وإزاء ذلك برزت مشكلة البحث في ذلك التخبُّط في الخطابات النقديّة التشكيليّة وتحليلها من جهة، والتخبُّط في مؤسّسات المناهج النقديّة الحديثة ذاتها من جهة أخرى، فتبيّن للباحثة الإفتقار إلى المحاولات النظاميّة التي اتخذت أربعاً من المناهج النقديّة الحديثة للإفادة منها في فَهْم النتاجات التشكيليّة فهماً موضوعياً لما تتّسم به (هذه النتاجات) من نظم تركيبية، وأفكار متخفيّة.
ويستدعي تحليل اللوحة التشكيليّة آليّة علميّة لا تخلو من تفَلسُف، تعتمد الموضوعيّة في النظريّة والتطبيق، فهي محاولة فكريّة نظريّة بمُعطيات الرؤية الفلسفيّة للمناهج النقدية الحديثة (البنيويّة والسيميائية والتفكيكية والتداوليّة) بتعالقها وتداخُلها تحقيقاً لما يُعرَف بتكامُليّة المناهج النقدية، في أنموذج نقديّ تحليليّ تكامُليّ، وهو ما يؤكده التطوُّر المعرفيّ بتركيب وتداخُل العلوم والمعارف تحقيقاً لمستويات أعلى من التخصُّص، فيُعدّ جزءاً من الإضافة المعرفيّة في التخصُّص المُركَّب بين إتجاهات ثلاثة هي: نظريّات التربية، والنقد، وفنّ التشكيل (الرسم)؛ وليضيف تقنيّة واضحة في التحليل.
ومن هنا، جاءت أهميّة البحث فضلاً عما يطرحه البحث في وضع أسس وخطوات كل منهج من المناهج النقديّة الحديثة (موضوع البحث).
